You should definitely know these 10 Matchday secret tips

You want to become a real SPL Fantasy Maniac as soon as possible? Then you should definitely consider these 10 tips

1. Automatic change of tactics during substitution

In SPL Fantasy there are six standard tactics: 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, 3-4-3, 4-5-1 and 5-3-2. Of course, you can also use the tactics fox to create a free line-up, but even without this card you benefit from a special feature on match day. You don't have to change positions. If another standard tactic arises after the change, your line-up will automatically adapt. An example: You play in a 4-4-2. However, one of your strikers fails completely, but you only have midfielders and defenders on the bench. So you bring in a midfielder for the striker - your tactic automatically changes to a 4-5-1. But now you can't bring in a defender for a midfielder, because it would result in a 5-4-1, which is not a standard tactic. Another example: You start in a 4-3-3. Now it is possible to bring in a central player for a striker, the 4-3-3 becomes a 4-4-2. Now you can also bring in a defender for a midfielder: the 4-4-2 would become a 5-3-2, also a standard tactic.

2. The most flexible substitution tactic

As described above, the tactic on the pitch adapts automatically with substitutions. The best version for ending up with a standard tactic as frequently as possible is the 4-4-2 tactic. You can make a 4-3-3 out of it and then a 4-4-2 again and finally end up in a 4-5-1. Or, you make a 3-5-2 out of the 4-4-2 and then a 3-4-3 and then a 4-4-2 again, depending on who is on your bench.

3. The “Game day Hustle”

The live substitution on SPL Fantasy is one of the coolest features. But, during your career as a manager, you will find out that not every substitution pays off. If you take a player off of the pitch in the 70th minute with 30 points and shortly thereafter he scores two goals. Of course. Or the captain, of all people, has a really bad day. 30 percent more points, you can’t be serious! A good SPL Fantasy manager optimizes his points haul wherever possible. That’s why the “Game day Hustle” is sometimes a good method. For this, you only put players in the line-up (including the bench), who are used in the 1st matches. Why? It's simple: You can see the live points of all of your players and can wait calmly until the end of substitution in the 75th minute to see who has collected the most points so far. Of course, you can’t prevent the problem of late goals with this either, but at least you make sure that you don’t need to substitute in professionals from next day on the off chance.

4. Goalkeepers from parallel matches

The goalkeeper is not only one of the most important positions in football - he also makes the crucial difference between good and very good results in SPL Fantasy. No one can play at the top with a weak goalkeeper, so it is important to improve your prospects here. A good approach is the following: Fill goalkeeper slot and a bench slot with keepers who are on parallel duty. Basically, it is smart to reserve a bench slot for a goalkeeper anyway, because even the snapper of a concrete defence makes mistakes sometimes. But the parallel play tactic increases the chances of you being right because you have both performances in view and, depending on the course of the game, can best assess which of the two might still grab or keep the clean sheet.

5. (Where possible) never rely on players from opponents of the same match

Let’s be honest: Who doesn’t like to play with Al Nassr or Al Hilal, or even better, with a combination of both teams? Or with both of the defenders who are currently in the best form plus both strikers, who have been able to extend their series? But be careful: There is a no-go if the clubs of these players come up against each other. Don’t make the mistake of only creating a line-up based on names, always keep an eye on the scenarios. Duels between two clubs often salvage the points of the players used, because where there is strong performance from the strikers, there can usually not be any top defense on the opposing side. In the middle tab of the app, you can see at a glance when clicking on the pairings, whether you have players in your line-up from direct duels. You should avoid and change that. An exception: If you rely on generic strikers from a match, its best to put one of them on the bench.

6. The underestimated scout.

Every top manager is usually on the lookout for good and cheap players. That’s why you can find offers that change daily every 24 hours in the SPL Fantasy transfer market. Behind the “Activate more offers” item, are three additional cheap players - and one of them is guaranteed to be an outstanding player in extremely good form at the respective point in time! That’s why the Scout card should never be underestimated, as anyone who is searching for reduced top stars will often find what they are looking for here.

7. Social Goodies

There are many reasons to follow SPL Fantasy on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. It happens that we only run competitions there, which are often worthwhile for you. 8. The Magic of the Magician

Magician: Guarantees you the average points of ONE player who is not lined up at the start of his teams match but is on the pitch in your Matchday team at the time. You can play the magician card on the player up to the 75th minute - even if he was substituted in in reality AND as long as he has no MAX rating. It is not forbidden to line up a suspended or injured player and then play the magician card! That's why he's called the magician.

9. SPL Fantasy is also an economic simulation

You have loaded SPL Fantasy for various reasons. You want the entire live action on a matchday, you want to put your favorite players in the line-up, you want to watch the Saudi Pro League press conference to see which players are currently performing well. But, did you know that with a long-term approach, you can also develop talented players and thereby improve your credit enormously? In the “Patient Moneymaker” guide, we have put together a step-by-step strategy for you. In summary: You buy cheap talent with the ability to use them 20 times, put them in your squad, but never use them. Because the market value of players who are good and in high demand rises per matchday (up to 10 percent), after 12-15 matchdays, you can generate a net profit of 100 percent and more with your talented players. 10. Always buy cards in a bundle

During your career as a manager, you will need many cards, predominantly substitutions and captains, which are the essential boosters. To buy these cards as cheaply as possible, it is best to use your coins to buy bundles, i.e. packs of cards. Every day, there is a bundle with a different composition – the aim is to wait for the right combination that you currently need. As a rule, the price is unbeatable. In the “Constant Coin Collector” guide, we have put a strategy together for you on the best way to proceed for collecting lots of coins.
